“Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.” I Peter 4:10
“Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers...Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them….Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep….Live in harmony with one another...associate with the lowly...Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:9-20
“...a Christian lives not in himself, but in Christ and in his neighbor. Otherwise he is not a Christian. He lives in Christ through faith, in his neighbor through love. By faith he is caught up beyond himself into God. By love he descends beneath himself into his neighbor. Yet he always remains in God and in his love…” Martin Luther, The Freedom of a Christian

- The Serve Core Ministry team is responsible for helping people discover their God-given gifts through a Spiritual Gifts Inventory. We want everyone to experience a rewarding ministry and believe that happens when you focus on using these gifts.
- The Joy Bunch is a group that crochets afghans and makes quilts that are given to aid organizations for people in need.
- The service opportunities are limited only by our imagination and the needs around us. Some examples of our service activities are Habitat for Humanity, Storehouse West (food bank), Peanut Butter and Jelly. People have given their time to help children at local schools and on several of the pueblos. Mission trips to Juarez, Mexico are a part of a program called Casas por Cristo. Groups build homes on this great adventure of service.
- During the Christmas season we encourage participation in Gifts of Hope. Gifts are given to agencies that help the neediest of our neighbors. Donations are made in lieu of a gift to honor a friend or relative.
