Welcome those who are weak in faith...Romans 14:1

But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him?...“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:14-15

Mission Statement:  To provide leadership and resources which enable the members of Community of Joy to invite and welcome other people to our congregational family.

Disciples of Community of Joy share their story of faith with each other, neighbors and strangers.

Volunteers help with the Print Communications of Community of Joy.  We prepare ads for the local news paper and yellow pages directory.  Brochures are distributed among local neighborhoods and Sunday morning visitors.  Being visible in our community is very important.

The Experience Joy! newsletter is another opportunity to communicate the mission and activities of our church.

Canvassing neighborhoods has been a lot of fun for those who like to spend time with others and enjoy a good walk.  From time to time, we distribute flyers to make Community of Joy a more noticeable presence.

Portable and permanent Signs are important.  They make our church more visible and guide newcomers to our location.

Greeters are those who meet people at the door on Sunday mornings.  Community of Joy has been a welcoming church.  Greeters make sure no one is left out as they join our worship celebrations.

Newcomer and new member receptions are scheduled to help incorporate new people into this community.

On FRAN Sundays you are encouraged to invite a Friend, Relative, Acquaintance or Neighbor.
