Tuesday Morning Prayer Group
Each Tuesday morning at 9:30am, Pastor Michael leads friends and members of Community of Joy in prayer. Here, those involved seek to strengthen their relationship with God, give praise and honor to our Savior and lift the lives of others up to Him. Join us!
Women of Prayer
Women of all ages today need rest from the demands of marriage, children, careers, family, health and other responsibilities to better focus on the good things God has given and intends for us. You can simply show up (you do not have to pray out loud) to reap the benefits of this time with God. You will leave refreshed and invigorated by the brief time we share together.
Men Alive!
Men Alive! meets the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 8:00 AM, at the church, for breakfast, Bible study, prayer and fellowship. We rotate the cooking responsibility among the members. You are more than welcome to join us! Contact Dave Shodean at

Children's Choir
Children's choir meets Wednesday night at 6:00. Children ages 5 to 11 have the opportunity to learn about music in a group environment and perform for the congregation each month. As part of Wednesday F.E.A.S.T., Supper is served and there are learning opportunities for all ages!
Youth Band
The youth band meets Wednesday nights at 5:30. This group is open to youth 12 years and older. Join us this Wednesday where we will be working on a contemporary christian piece that we will be performing for the congregation soon! Contact

ReJOYce! Music Team
ReJoyce! meets on Wednesday nights (aka Wednesday F.E.A.S.T.) to rehearse and plan for upcoming worship services. If you can play an instrument or sing and would like to get involved, contact

Bible Sharing Group
This group of women from COJ meets in members' homes on Thursday afternoons at 2:00 PM. We rotate leadership and hosting among the members. We usually study the Bible passages for the coming Sunday from the ELCA Lectionary and pray for the concerns of our members and for the church. Please contact Virginia Wilcox at

Joyful Journey
Joyful Journey meets in members'€™ homes on the first and third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. We meet for study (currently we are working through an overview of the Bible and its key doctrines; we have also studied Mark’s Gospel and Romans), prayer and fellowship.
