Women of all ages today need rest from the demands of marriage, children,
careers, family, health and other responsibilities to better focus on
the good things God has given and intends for us. You can simply show
up (you do not have to pray out loud) to reap the benefits of this time
with God. You will leave refreshed and invigorated by the brief time we
share together. We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at COJ.

This past Tuesday, the Women of Prayer-Strength in Numbers met at Jackie Anderson's house for a "high" tea to celebrate that we each finished writing our own obituaries. This has been a project over several months that included many surprises as we learned so much about each other's early years before COJ. Writing our own obituaries is an opportunity to remember how much God has done in our lives, and is a gift to our a families who may not remember or know what has shpaed us into women of God.
If you want help writing your own obituary, contact any of the women: Jackie Anderson, Virginia Wilcox, Maryann Cano, Louise Scott, Donna Doles, Sandra Bednarski, Suzanne Davis, or Gretchen Comfort.
Contact us if you have any questions or would like more
information about one of COJ's small groups. Check the Calendar for dates and times.
