Joyful Hearts Women’s Ministry

Joyful Hearts is open to all women in the church who share our common desire to connect with each other and share our blessings by serving the church and the community.

We meet the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m., with a break from meetings during the summer months.

Throughout the year, we collect and donate items needed by local organizations who provide vital services in our community. Ongoing collections include crocheted lap covers for a local hospice, assorted toiletries for Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless, and household items for Lutheran Family Services. Additional activities are scheduled throughout the year to promote fellowship within our group and within the congregation.

2026 Events/Projects

Joyful Hearts Women’s Ministry hosted an Ice Cream Social following worship service on Sunday, July 5th.  We received many appreciative smiles and verbal thanks as the ice cream was being dished out.  Ice cream on a hot day is a joyful experience. A big thank-you to all those who helped make this event a success.

Some of the upcoming events include a Bake Sale in October, collecting hats and scarfs for Health Care for the Homeless and our annual Thanksgiving Lunch in November.
