Joyful Hearts Women’s Ministry

Joyful Hearts is open to all women in the church who share our common desire to connect with each other and share our blessings by serving the church and the community.

We meet the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m., with a break from meetings during the summer months.

Throughout the year, we collect and donate items needed by local organizations who provide vital services in our community. Ongoing collections include crocheted lap covers for a local hospice, assorted toiletries for Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless, and household items for Lutheran Family Services. Additional activities are scheduled throughout the year to promote fellowship within our group and within the congregation.

2026 Events/Projects

May 3rd - Annual Haven House fundraiser - Haven House is the only domestic abuse shelter in Sandoval County. This event will take place on Sunday, May 3rd after the service. We will provide sandwiches and a variety of salads for lunch. May 3rd is “World Laughter Day”, so that will be the theme. Please join as we attempt to bring a smile to those who need it most. The money we collect through a free-will offering will go toward gas cards, food and other necessities for clients of Haven House.
